Shabiki – auf Suaheli „Msichana na shabiki“, was soviel bedeutet wie „Mädchen mit dem Fächer“ – und ja, der Fächer ist tatsächlich ihr Markenzeichen auf dem Dancefloor. Ein Überbleibsel aus ihrer Kindheit, die sie teilweise in Südafrika verbrachte – wo Rhythmus, Sonne und Lebensfreude ihre Spuren hinterließen und ihren Namen.
