Baerbel

Born with rhythm in her blood, Baerbel spent her early childhood and youth performing as a multidisciplinary dancer. Exploring Germany’s underground Drum n Bass scene, her interest in electronic music started rising up until she reached her final destination and electronic music capital – Berlin. Finally in 2021 she found something that gave her the same thrill as performing on stage as a dancer for many years – moving behind the decks. Over ten years Baerbel collected influences from various techno, house and psy artists, leading to her creative, energetic and genrefluid sound moving from hypnotic psytechno over bouncy tech house to absolute peak-time madness. Baerbel likes to trap her audience, release their emotions and empower them to feel those. Her home is in the booth of festivals and clubs like Fusion Festival, Nation of Gondwana, Bucht der Träumer*, Moyn, Kater, Renate, Ritter Butzke, Südpol, Bahnwärter Thiel and many more. Together with her queer-feminist DJ collective crew.port, she organizes the infamous DONNAWETTER in Hamburg and Berlin, a party with pure FLINTA* lineup and a sophisticated awareness concept. She is also a member of  the creative collective Schrottpourri (Krassiopeia Floor / Skalar Festival). In 2025 she started her own party series „BELLEZ“, hosting parties, where especially queer and newcomer DJs are booked, at Renate and Klunkerkranich in Berlin.
